Half way through another week. I was talking to a friend today and telling her that usually for me, half way through January is where my year starts to take off and before I know it, it's half way through January of the next year. I'm not even sure how this year can possibly go faster then last one, but I'm sure it will.
I gave tonight's cocktail 4 shots out of 5. This is a delicious shooter. All three ingredients go very well together which gives it a nice taste. I think this shooter would be enjoyed by many of you, especially those of you who have been having nightly (ok, maybe not as nightly as me, but you know what I mean) cocktails and stocking up your liquor cabinets along with me. This shooter will be a crowd pleaser and a good one to start off a party, it's nice and easy to drink so you won't get that tequila face, you'll smile instead.
Here is the recipe for an Orgasm:
- 1/2 oz Irish cream
- 1/2 oz kahlua
- 1/2 oz amaretto
In a shaker, add ice and all of the ingredients above. Shake and strain into a shot glass.

The Cocktail Lady
A drink with this name and an observation that it will put a smile on my face was too big a combination not to give it a try. You can definitely taste the amaretto. Is it bad that I liked the BJ better? I will opt not to evaluate any deeper meanings other than a preference for beverage ingredients. :)
