Congrats! on the end of your year. I was one of the ones that came in in the middle and really enjoyed it. I looked forward to see your post everyday and tried as many as I could get away with. I think I am going to dazzle the people at the RV park with this one at one of our nightly get together's around the bbq. Should be fun! Thanks for the time and effort you put into this. I am so glad to see that it doesn't end here! Bring em on!

The proper way to do the shot is to light the shot then drop it into a half full pint of beer then chug it (the flame would have been extinguised when making contact with the beer). I should know.I burned three fingers doing so. :)

BTW, good job with the year of cocktails. That's more ambitious than I am and I work at a bar 5 nights a week. Kudos.

Congratulations! I've enjoyed reading all of your cocktail journey and trying a lot of them! You will still be in my RSS feed to see when you post new ones from time to time :)

Congrats on completing your year! It was fun trying some new and different drinks. There were some days when alcohol just did not sound good at all, so I don't know how you drank some every single day. I've noticed, though, that my weight loss efforts have moved along significantly faster now that I'm back to just an occasional drink instead of "do I have the ingredients to make whatever she did today?" so perhaps I should be happy the year is over. :)

Thank You for your comment. You know when my husband came home he said the exact same thing about the proper way to do this cocktail. I may have to try it that say next time :)

ReplyDeleteThank You! I will totally admit that it was very tough some nights. Some days I just didn't want to do it, but I stuck with it none the less. Thank You for drinking along with me when you could, I had fun =)
