If you like it, then I'll probably like it... it's not just like drinking ketchup??!! Bloody Mary's always make me think of Clear Lake!!!

What...no horseradish??? Word of advice-dump the celery and add more more more olives! You won't need dinner! hmmmm new diet plan? Sounds good to me :)

I've tried Bloody Mary in the past and never been excited about them. I have no idea which recipe I used, so I tried yours, but only had regular V8, not the spicy kind. I don't know why, since the spicy one is what I generally prefer. I should have added some hot sauce, maybe, but I was sticking with your recipe as much as possible. It was actually drinkable this time (the last one was not) but these still don't rank as a favorite. Ah well, at least I got in another serving of veggies from the juice, right? It's fun to experiment and any excuse to munch on olives. :)

ReplyDeleteIt's not! It's like spicy tomato soup! Bloody Mary's always make me think of Clearlake too and Corey and Fishface. I picture myself on the lawn at the lake and the "ski lift" story is what comes to mind =)

ReplyDeleteHa ha! If I would have used regular V8 and not the spicy one I would have added horseradish and maybe some hot sauce too! This is just a basic one I think, I know others add all kinds of stuff. One of my friends had mentioned Guinness.
DeleteOlives dipped in here.......ah-maze-ing!!!!

ReplyDeleteOh I couldn't agree with you more on both accounts! Bloody Mary's are not my favorite cocktails, but gosh those olives make them taste better for sure! As we both know, green olives make anything taste better really. =)
